Coronavirus Information for Parents and Carers

posted 13 Mar 2020, 08:08 by Emma Burgess
A letter has been sent out via parent mail today which contains information regarding coronavirus. As you may have seen from the news yesterday, the government’s guidance on the coronavirus has changed from the ‘contain’ phase to one of delaying the spread of the virus.

Text Box: If your child has any of the following symptoms they should remain at home for 7 days: • a high temperature (37.8 degrees and above) • and/or a new, continuous cough Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you're staying at home. If your symptoms worsen during your stay at home period or are no better after 7 days contact NHS 111 online at 111.nhs.uk. Official advice as of today is that our schools will remain open and your child should continue to attend school unless they feel unwell. If your child is unwell, report this as you would normally.
